Area 51 Storming is a special type of gamemode in Area 51, and is currently one of the most challenging modes in the game. The gamemode involves you, the Leader (talking to players) and at least 14 other players (up to 19 others) together raiding Area 51 in search of proof of the existence of aliens. Along the way, you encounter many enemies, Soldiers and Killers, who will constantly try to stop you.

About[]

The gamemode is about going through Area 51, while the Leader helps you and the other players escape and to survive and kill the Killers and Soldiers lurking in the vicinity.

Teleporting to the actual storming server requires at least 15 players to start from the main menu. When the 15th player has joined the lobby, the game starts a 5-second countdown; after which, any players currently in the lobby will be teleported to the server. If the lobby's player count drops below 15, the timer will pause, then restart at 5 seconds upon reaching 15 players again.

If you own a VIP server, you can start the match by clicking the start button located on the top-right corner. Starting the match this way allows you to enter a game without reaching 15 players requirement. However, if 15 players attempt to start the game without the owner present, the game will not start as the 15 player requirement is removed and no start button will be present for non VIP server owners.

In the match, the game begins with a 20-second countdown, allowing players time to load and choose their character (listed below). If no character is selected, your own avatar (You) is automatically chosen.

There are 4 types of characters you can be:

If you choose either "You", "Naruto" or "Kyle", you can pick up guns while the Rock Thrower can't pick up any weapons, but instead, have to use a Rock found in its inventory.

After the 20-second countdown ends, the game plays through each of the Stages.

Upon death, players can continue to observe the game by watching alive players through Spectator Mode.

If you die, you can respawn for 3 Robux. If the game crashes while purchasing a respawn, you can revert that purchase.

If all players in the server are killed, the game will end. The game will also end if the Leader is killed.

Differences[]

Stages[]

Area 51 Storming's gameplay is divided into stages, segments of the gamemode the player must complete in order to access the next one. Stages are generally separated by a door, although this is not always the case.

The following is a list of all stages, in order from 0 to 25.

Stage soundtracks can be found here.

Stage 0[]

This stage begins as soon as the 20-second game starting timer ends. It primarily features a lot of Leader dialogue, as well as one Soldier sitting in a chair in the Guardhouse just beyond the main gate. This Soldier is then killed by the Leader using the Rock Thrower's Rock Throw ability.

Additionally, the invisible wall preventing players from accessing the area is removed when the cutscene ends. Music titled Desert also plays during this stage, beginning shortly after the 20-second timer ends. Just before this stage ends, Sandstorm begins playing.

Leader dialogue[]

  1. "Uhhh! Only [server player count] people came?! I expected us to be 600,000!"
  2. "Fine. It's not the amount of people here that matters anyway."
  3. "As you all know, the government is hiding secrets in this area for way too long..."
  4. "...but today is the day we'll discover all the lies they were telling us!"
  5. "I am the leader here, so follow me if you want to stay alive, and protect me!"
  6. "Anyway, let's go and find out these aliens!"[sic]
  7. "Wait a minute! We're approaching!"
  8. "I'm pretty sure there's a soldier inside this..."
  9. "Let me stun him before he sees us."
  10. "Ok, you can now come!"

Stage 1[]

Leader dialogue[]

SVD in the Gamepass Hangar

  1. "Hm... Let's head over to that hangar on the right. Maybe we can find something interesting in there..."
  2. "Wow, there seems to be snipers in there! Take them so we can defend ourselves!"
  3. "Ok, let's find the entrance of the area now!"
  4. "Wait, I think soldiers are coming..."
  5. "It's not these soldiers that are going to stop us! Snipe 'em all!"

  • At the beginning of the Leader's fourth dialogue, all players are teleported to the middle of the Gamepass Hangar.

  5. "I bet there's a surveillance camera somewhere around here, if you find it, shoot it."
  6. "Let's now open this door."

Notes[]

  • The Leader will always fix the elevator immediately following the death of the last Soldier.
  • Any players not currently on the elevator are teleported to it 3 seconds after it begins its descent.
  • The facility initiates an alarm as soon as the elevator reaches the bottom.
    • The alarm stops upon the destruction of the security camera at the door.
  • The security camera is destroyable as soon as the Leader's fifth line of dialogue plays. However, destroying the camera before the dialogue is done does not speed up the stage, as the Leader will first finish that line of dialogue, then the next and then open the door.

Stage 5[]

Leader dialogue[]

  1. "There are even more weapons here! Make sure you take them!"
  2. "Wait, I think I'm hearing something behind this door..."

  • The Soldiers spawn just after the Leader's second dialogue ends.
  • The Soldiers turn to open the large doors. As soon as this happens, the Killers spawn, as evident by the green luminescent light projecting from the Giant Zombie on the left. As soon as the doors start to open, the Soldiers will turn back and face the players.

Stage 12[]

Leader dialogue[]

  1. "Ah sh..., here we go again."
  2. "I'll stay somewhere safe. I trust you all to fight all of these killers..."
  3. "I really thought we were going to die this time... Good job on surviving all of these waves."
  4. "Let's continue! Follow me!"
  5. "Get prepared..."

Notes[]

  • Just before the Leader's third dialogue ends, The Boss by Richard Jacques will begin playing.
    • If the enemies in this stage are killed quickly enough, the song Winds of Fjords begins playing at the scheduled time (just before the Leader's third dialogue ends), prematurely ending The Boss.

  1. "Hm... This way!"
  2. "Oh! What's this?"
  3. "It looks like we need a code that only personnels have..."
  4. "This must be the last step to access the aliens!"
  5. "The code must be written for sure somewhere in the area."
  6. "I'm counting on you, my fellow followers, to find that code and type it in."
  7. "Watch your step though, new soldiers and killers might have appeared..."

Notes[]

  • When a player has inputted the correct code, the Leader will announce them as the player who found it, advancing to Stage 19. The Leader will then input the code at a rate of about 0.4 seconds per digit (total 2 seconds).

  10. "OH MY GOD, YES!!!!"
  11. "WE DID IT, WE CAN NOW PROVE TO THE WORLD THAT ALIENS REALLY EXIST!"

  4. "...but this time, I really cannot fix it..."
  5. "...we have to find another way out."
  6. "I might have an idea, follow me!"
  7. "Arg! How do I open this door?"

  • The Leader's second dialogue begins upon killing all the Soldiers.

Stage 22[]

  • Soldiers: N/A
  • Killers: N/A

  6. "Alright everyone. What an amazing story!"
  7. "We can now tell the world everything we've seen throughout this raid."
  8. "Teleporters, aliens, slaves, giant zombies and so on!"
  9. ""Oh, I got a message from the owner of the game! It says the following:
  10. ""Congratulations on completing this challenging gamemode! I hope you had fun playing it.""
  11. ""You have been awarded a badge so you can show others that you are a real fighter ""
  12. ""See you all next time for more content and updates. Bye!
PS: DO NOT TRY TO STORM AREA 51!""

Notes[]

  • 3 seconds after the Leader's second dialogue ends, and when the elevator begins its ascent, all players are teleported to the elevator, even if they are already on it.
  • Using the Hookshot, it is possible to clip through the base of the elevator and hit the ground. However, you will be teleported back on the elevator almost immediately.
  • Upon reaching the surface, one Alien will always get stuck behind the rest due to a vehicle gate. After a brief period of time, this Alien will then teleport to the other side. The Leader refers to this as its 'teleporting ability'.
  • The Freed aliens badge is awarded to all alive players with the Leader's penultimate line of dialogue.
